Bemidji Township, along with Northern Township and the City of Bemidji, have agreed to a unified planning and regulatory process for their entire 72 square mile area.  It includes an orderly annexation agreement staged in three phases over 15 years, and the implementation of the Greater Bemidji Area Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance.  Applications and forms dealing with Conditional/Interim Use Permits, Variances, Land Use Permits, Lot Divisions, Septic Permits, Subdivision Reviews PUD/CIC, Rezoning, Sign Permits, Subdivision Plat Applications, Shoreland Alteration Permits and Home Occupations are also available on the  Greater Bemidji Area Joint Planning website.  The Land Use Plan and Transportation Plan are also included on this site.
